About Stephanie Westover

As a child, Stephanie Westover began her
journey into the romantic Irish Wolfhound world. Just like a fairy tale story, an Irish girl’s dream was always to have her own Irish Wolfhound. Bitten by the bug early and as a daughter of a feisty Irishman, Stephanie was surrounded with Irish tradition and lore. She consumed stories, books, information and any experience that involved the Irish Wolfhound breed.

Breeding Irish Wolfhounds

Stephanie had her first visit to Ireland in 1998 where she was able to meet Irish Wolfhound breeder, William Leahy. With multiple trips to Ireland, she began to immerse herself within the origins of the Irish Wolfhound breed. Even though Stephanie knew that Irish Wolfhounds were her destiny, she also knew that it would be a long road before having her own successful program. With William Leahy’s encouragement and assistance, Stephanie was finally living her dream, raising and hunting with Irish Wolfhounds of her own.

Today, Stephanie’s priority is maintaining and improving the integrity of this ancient breed.

Stephanie lives on the ranch with her husband 7 hounds and 3 horses.
